Abstract
Protests and uprisings have taken place around the world in response to the death of Mahsa Amini. Mahsa Amini was an Iranian woman who suspiciously died. She was arrested by the Iranian morality police for wearing her hijab in an improper manner. The morality police beat her before they took her into custody and transported her to a detention center. Three days after she was beaten, she died.
Protests have also been questioning the legitimacy of the Islamic regime. Demonstrators have been chanting slogans such as "Get rid of the mullahs" or "Death to the dictator."
